IMS Jammu Organised Inter-College ‘Launch a Product’ Competition Under IIC
Under the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Jammu successfully organised the Inter-College “Launch a Product” Competition on 5th March 2025.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various undergraduate colleges across Jammu. The competition was organised with the objective of encouraging creativity, innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and business problem-solving skills among young minds.
A total of 17 teams participated in the event, presenting innovative product ideas along with well-structured business strategies. The participants showcased impressive business acumen, strategic planning, and creative approaches to product development and marketing.
Evaluation Criteria
The teams were evaluated on several important parameters, including:
- Innovation and uniqueness of the idea
- Marketing strategy
- Financial viability
- Payback period and business sustainability
The competition was judged by Er. Divya Jamwal, who appreciated the innovative ideas presented by the students and shared valuable insights, guidance, and constructive feedback to help participants strengthen their entrepreneurial vision.
Winners of the Competition
- ? 1st Position: Satvik Kurichh and Ramyak Jain (SPMR College of Commerce)
- ? 2nd Position: Anushika and Avleen Kaur (GCET)
- ? 3rd Position: Shivansh Gupta and Yogant Singh Jamwal (SPMR College of Commerce)
The competition was organised as part of “Manthan” – IMS Jammu’s Annual Business & Tech Conclave, which focuses on nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and a thriving startup ecosystem in the region.
